Kalonzo: I’m best suited to succeed Odinga in 2027

By , June 4, 2022

Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has reiterated that his 2027 presidential ambitions remain intact.

Speaking during a rally held in Tala town, Machakos County, the former vice president expressed that his determination to succeed the Azimio la Umoja presidential flagbearer, Raila Odinga remains unstoppable.

“We are not stopping until we take Kenya’s presidency. Since President Kenyatta will retire and Mr Odinga will become the president and Martha Karua his deputy, are you telling me that once Mr Odinga retires,

“Martha should really become the president? Don’t you think we have just aligned properly to succeed Mr Odinga? We are not kidding,” Kalonzo stated.

The Wiper party leader also drummed up support for Odinga stating that voting for the former premier is like voting for him.

“Note that when you vote for Mr. Odinga again you will be voting for me. Let us vote Mr. Odinga more overwhelmingly than we did in the 2013 and 2017 elections so that we create job opportunities for our youth and end corruption,” he remarked.

While expressing optimism, Kalonzo who urged the region to only vote for Wiper candidates assured supporters that Odinga will win the August polls.
