Kalonzo convenes meeting with Wiper Party nationwide aspirants

Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has held a meeting with Wiper Party aspirants from all over the country.

In a statement posted on his social media platforms on Monday, June 23, 2025, Kalonzo stated that he met with Wiper Democratic Movement aspirants from across the country passionate, fearless young leaders eager to serve and transform Kenya.

He emphasised their strong commitment and clear vision, noting that together they are building a movement founded on justice, unity, and purpose. He described the Wiper family as strong, focused, and ready to liberate the country.

Photos shared by the party leader showed hundreds of members in attendance, with the room painted in blue, the party’s signature color.

“Today, I met with Wiper Democratic Movement party aspirants from around our country – passionate, fearless young leaders eager to serve and develop Kenya. Their commitment is solid, and their vision is clear; together, we are creating a front based on justice, unity, and purpose. The Wiper family is strong, focused, and ready to liberate our country.” Kalonzo said.

This meeting comes at a time when the party is preparing to rebrand ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Kalonzo has joined forces with other like-minded opposition leaders, including former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, DAP-K party leader Eugene Wamalwa, PLP party leader Martha Karua, and former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang’i.

Raila’s meeting at Chungwa house

In a separate encounter, ODM Party Leader Raila Odinga on Monday, June 23, 2025, held a meeting with party staff and officials at Chungwa House, where he engaged them in discussions centred on the progress and direction of the party.

The meeting brought together various cadres of the party’s internal team, led by Executive Director Oduor Ong’wen, as part of a structured reflection on the work done so far and the priorities ahead.

Also present was the party’s Narok Chairman, Nalengoyo Torome, popularly known as Kaza Roho, who briefed Raila on the developments the party has achieved in the Patrick ole Ntutu-led county.

Nalengoyo used the opportunity to invite Raila for a series of engagements in the county and to lead grassroots meetings across the region.
