Rutto praised Faith’s music for uplifting communities and providing hope to many. He said her artistry had gone beyond entertainment, becoming a source of encouragement and joy that resonates across borders.

“Her music continues to be a source of encouragement and joy, spreading far beyond territories, touching countless people,” Rutto said.

The event brought together hundreds of music lovers, local leaders, and artists from across the region. It also became a stage for emerging talents, with young men and women showcasing their creativity through art, music, and innovation. Rutto said this diversity of talent reflects the rich potential that exists within Kenyan communities.

“Her celebration today to mark the years-long career in the music industry gave a platform to many young men and women to display the abundance of rich and diverse talents in our society, ranging from art, music and innovation, a true reflection of the great potential that lies within our communities,” he added.

Rutto emphasised that supporting artists and creative youth is not only about entertainment but also about nation-building. He called for more deliberate efforts to mentor and fund local talent, arguing that creativity can drive both social and economic development.

“By cultivating and investing in these gifted individuals, we not only shape their ability to shine, but we are also largely breeding a culture of creativity that brings a meaningful impact to society,” he said.

The celebration, attended by Emurua Dikirr MP Johanna Ngeno, Bildad Cheruiyot, and other leaders, ended with performances that highlighted Bomet’s vibrant music culture and reaffirmed the community’s pride in Faith Therui’s success.
