Igembe North MP Taitumu Julius’ father passes away
By Francis Muli, July 6, 2026Igembe North MP Taitumu Julius M’anaiba has announced the death of his father, Mzee Patrick M’Anaiba Baikilanya.
In a statement issued on Sunday, July 5, 2026, the first-term legislator said his father died earlier in the day, describing him as a loving parent whose life was marked by integrity, humility and faith.
“It is with deep sorrow that I announce the passing on of my beloved Dad, Mzee Patrick M’Anaiba Baikilanya, which occurred this morning,” the MP said.
He paid tribute to his father, saying he was a pillar of strength and a source of wisdom to the family.
“He was a loving father, a pillar of strength, and a source of wisdom whose legacy of integrity, humility, and faith will forever remain in our hearts,” M’anaiba said.
On behalf of the Baikilanya family, the legislator thanked friends, relatives and members of the public for their prayers and messages of condolence following the loss.
“On behalf of the Baikilanya family, I sincerely thank everyone for your prayers and messages of comfort. We thank God for the gift of his life and the legacy he leaves behind,” he said.
The MP concluded his message by praying for his father’s eternal rest.
“May his soul rest in eternal peace,” he said.
The family is expected to announce funeral and burial arrangements in due course.
