The voter registration clerks would be deployed to serve in 57 Huduma Centres nationwide.

The presiding officer will be paid Ksh2000 per day, as the deputy Presiding Officers take home Ksh1,800 per day.

The independent body has since invited qualified Kenyans to apply as voter registration clerks nationwide and as poll officials serving in various roles for the by-elections in different electoral areas.
The body has listed the requisite professional requirements for the different categories.
Elsewhere, DCP leaders urged IEBC to ensure fairness in voter registration.
How to apply
Interested applicants are required to submit their applications online via the IEBC Job Portal (https://jobs.iebc.or.ke) by October 16, 2025.
The opening for jobs comes days after IEBC opened its doors for the continuous voter registration exercise.
In a statement on Monday, September 29, 2025, IEBC Chair Esrastus Ethekon revealed that the commission was targeting an ambitious 28.5 million voters by the 2027 General Election.
“The Commission projects that come 2027, we should have registered about 28.5 million voters,” Ethekon said
Ethekon also confirmed that mass voter registration will begin immediately after the by-elections. This larger exercise will extend to villages and wards to capture as many eligible Kenyans as possible.
“This exercise is a vital step in ensuring that every eligible Kenyan has the opportunity to participate in shaping the country’s future through democratic elections. It is particularly directed towards young people who have recently attained 18 years, and all citizens who have not yet registered or need to update their voter information,” he said.
