Hungary President János Áder set for 4-day visit to Kenya

The president of Hungary, János Áder is set to arrive in Nairobi on Sunday, January 16 for his four-day state visit in the country.

In a statement by the Statehouse spokesperson Kanze Dena, Áder’s visit follows an invitation by President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“János in company with his wife First Lady Anita Herczegh will be officially received by their hosts President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta at State House, Nairobi on Monday, January 17,” part of the statement read.

Kenya and Hungary enjoy warm and strong bilateral ties dating back to 1964 when Hungary established an Embassy in Nairobi.
