Hospital behind MPs’ COVID-19 test results clears the air

By , April 8, 2020

Pathologists Lancet Kenya on Wednesday termed as false the information detailing the COVID-19 test results for 17 MPs and Senators.

In a letter dated April 8, the facility said test results for the legislators were released in ‘confidentiality’.

“The information circulating is completely incorrect both in terms of purported numbers and names of people who have allegedly tested positive for Covid-19,” said Lancet in letter.

Lancet, however, revealed that they were commissioned to test the MPs for coronavirus.

The facility said test results were released to the legislators individually and would not release the results to the public.
