By , December 6, 2019

Governor Mike Sonko has moved to the High Court seeking an order for anticipatory bail pending the intended grafts charges.

Under certificate of urgency, Sonko through a team of lawyers led by Cecil Miller, George Kethi amd Michael Osundwa is seeking to stop his prosecution.

“That pending inter- parties hearing and determination of the application the court be pleased to grant reasonable bail or bond terms to Mike Sonko following his arrest and impending arraignment in court by the State,” says Miller in the court papers.

Justice John Onyiengo of the anti-corruption court is expected to give it’s direction at 3:30pm.
