By , March 27, 2023

A group of people on Monday, July 27, 2023, stormed a piece of land believed to be owned by former president Uhuru Kenyatta’s family in Ruiru along the Eastern bypass.

Tens of people were seen inside the property while others stood by the fence watching the groups that were inside going their things.

A number of leaders have come out to condemn the occurrence with Narok senator Ledama Olekina claiming that deputy president Rigathi Gachagua sponsored the invasion into the land owned by the Kenyatta family.

Talk of destructions of property sponsored by the state: @rigathi goons are currently stationed at Former President Uhuru Kenyatta land in Ruai . They have destroyed the fence and are currently subdividing the land as a condition to start pushing back Azimio Demonstrators from there. Things are going to get nasty!” Olekina tweeted.

Communication strategist and Azimio-affiliated blogger Pauline Njoroge also echoed Olekina’s sentiments.

THE GOVERNMENT HAS GONE ROGUE!!

Former President Uhuru Kenyatta’s farm currently being invaded by over 1000 goons. They have accessed the farm from the Kamaki’s side,” Pauline Njoroge tweeted.
