Frankie Dee dedicates new song to Ethiopia

Kenyan Dancehall Star Frankie Dee new song Addis Ababa, a dancehall- driven collaboration between the dancehall king and legendary Ethiopian singer Abdu Kiar, could not be any timelier. 

The song comes as the country is rocked with ongoing civil war and  also aims at promoting African Unity with lyrics touching on Pan Africanism endorsing the efforts of pan African heroes such asbHaille Sellassie, Nkrumah and Jomo Kenyatta.

It also reminds Africans on the importance of peaceful co-existence and selling Addis Ababa as a tourist destination. 

Produced by Kenyan producers S Kay Beats and Dj Thamos, the video was shot in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia directed by Ethiopian director  Baby.

According to Frankie Dee the inspiration of the song came during their tour of Ethiopia last year and the reception was heart-warming.
