Forgive boda boda riders, Wanjiru urges women

Nairobi gubernatorial seat aspitant Bishop Margret Wanjiru has called on women to forgive boda boda riders for assaulting a lady on Wangari Maathai Road last week.

“As women of this country, we have forgiven the boda boda riders across the country,” Wanjiru said.

Speaking during a repentance and reconciliation service on Sunday morning in her church along the Heile Selassie Avenue, Nairobi, the Bishop said human is to error.

However, the Bishop assured her supporters that she was still firmly in the race for the gubernatorial seat of Nairobi and urged them to ignore the rumours by her detractors that she had opted to vie for Senate seat. 

“Ignore the false prophets,” she said.
