Female student in sex scandal released on Sh300, 000 cash bail

A Nairobi court has released Faith Bwibo, a uni￾versity student accused of luring several girls to a house to have sex with her male friends, on Sh300,000 cash bail.

In her ruling, Kibera Se￾nior Principal Magistrate Es￾ther Boke accepted the bail application, saying it was merited. Bwibo has spent more than two months at the Langata Women Prison remand pending the bail application.

Boke noted that Bwibo has tabled evidence to show showing that she will comply with the condi￾tions of the court.

Boke, however, declined to grant her co-accused, Abdirizak Adan Abdullahi, bail until key prosecution witnesses testify.

Bwibo is alleged to have invited young girls for fun-filled parties in South C in March, only for them to be coerced into satisfying her male friend’s sexual needs.
