Atlanta-based Kenyan entertainer DJ Fully Focus has teamed up with Walshy Fire of Major Lazer to produce a fire mix that aims to push African music mainstream.

The mix dubbed Africa is the Future Part 3 is a third instalment of a project that began five years ago and features genres such as Bongo, Gqom, Genge, Zouk, Kuduro, Hilife, Kwasa, Afrohouse and a host of mash-ups.

It features artistes such as Ethic, Naiboi, King Kaka and Wamlambez hitmakers Sailors.

“Kenyan music is thriving right now and I had to share what I see on the ground,” Focus tells Spice.
