The Mumias rally that was supposed to counter the Bukhungu Stadium BBI meeting is said to have had its own share of drama.

Apart from claims that Majority Chief Whip Benjamin Washiali had gone missing after the meeting aborted, another MP has been accused of duping his colleagues into marching towards the anti-riot police guarding the venue of the rally before switching off his phone and disappearing.

Efforts to trace the man, who has interest in trade unionism, bore not fruit as his colleagues engaged the police in running battles the whole day.
