Here is what you need to know to keep up to speed with today’s happenings.

Dubai jobs interviews

Boda Boda riders in Nairobi are expected to turn out for interviews aimed at recruiting riders for jobs in Dubai.

Labour and Social Protection Cabinet Secretary Alfred Mutua in a statement shared via his official X account on Saturday, December 14, 2024, urged interested candidates to turn out in large numbers.

According to Mutua, the interviews will be conducted by officials of a United Arab Emirates company at Kamukunji TVC next to Kamukunji Primary School, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

200 motorcycle riders are expected to be recruited.

“Officials of a United Arab Emirates company will be concluding their final interviews on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at KAMUKUNJI TVC next to Kamukunji Primary from 8 am to 5 pm. Come and try your luck. The JOB: Motorcycle Riders – 200 positions,” CS Mutua stated.

FKF Premier League action

Several Football Kenya Federation (FKF) Premier League teams will be facing each other on Sunday, December 15, 2024, in the weekend action.

Tusker FC will kick off the Sunday fixture as it faces off with Bidco United at Dandora Stadium in an a 1:00 pm kick off.

Shaban FC will host KCB FC at Gusii Stadium in Kisii, in a 2:00 pm kick off.

Bandari FC will be hosting Mathare United at Ukunda Showground as Murang’a Seal hosts Posta Rangers at Sport Pesa Arena in Murang’a, in a 3:00 pm kick off.

Sofapaka FC will close the Sunday fixture as it faces AFC Leopards at Dandora Stadium in a 4:00 pm kick off.

Politicians in churches

Politicians are expected to flock different churches for worship.

As per their norm, they are expected to take to the pulpit to make political remarks that revolve around the country’s current happenings.
