The two are held in custody while the DCI proceeds with the investigation pending their arraignment in court to answer to the charges. They are set to be charged with operating an unlicensed health institution, which is punishable under the Constitution of Kenya.

The DCI has further stated that the collaboration between the unit and the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council will continue with the operation the aim of dismantling all the health facilities operating illegally without proper documentation as required by law. This is in an aim to protect the public from quack medical practitioners.
The operation, according to the DCI, will be nationwide and has called on the members of the public to make reports of any businesses operating illegally for legal action.
