COVID-19: Kenya confirms nine new cases with no travel history, 12 discharged

Kenya has confirmed nine new cases of coronavirus, Health Cabinet Secretary Mutahi Kagwe announced on Wednesday.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in the country now stands at 225.
All the new cases are Kenyans without travel history.
The cases are not from quarantine facilities.
The cases have ages between nine and 69 years.
“Five of the cases are from Nairobi County while four others are from Mombasa County,” Kagwe said.
Twelve COVID-19 patients have been discharged, bringing the total recoveries in the country to 53.
One patient has died; total deaths as a result of coronavirus in the country now rises to 10.
