Chipukeezy urges Kamba youth to seek election

By , September 4, 2024

The youth in Ukambani region have been asked to vie for elective seats in the next General-Election instead of complaining about bad leadership.

Comedian and radio presenter Vincent Mutua whose stage name is Chipukeezy said young people should be at the forefront in decision-making processes by taking up leadership positions.

He said the era of youth taking a low profile in politics was long gone and asked them to remain vigilant in fighting for elective posts in the next General Election.

Mutua told the youth to use their numbers during elections to elect more of their own to political office.

“Youth should not rely on being nominated to various elective seats but should fight for the positions to bring change. The youth are the future of Kenya,” the comedian said at St. Mary’s Primary School ground during the final of a youth tournament organized by his Chipukeezy Empowerment Foundation.
