Businesswoman to know fate of passport

Businesswoman Mary Wambui Mungai will know her fate tomorrow on whether the court will release her passport so that she can travel to Turkey.

Mungai, through her lawyer Nelson Havi yesterday made an application to have her passport released so that she could visit Turkey on a business trip, an application the prosecution opposed.

Mungai, a Purma Holdings director, was charged last year with evading Sh2.5 billion taxes.
