Boda boda operators urged to keep off schoolgirls

Boda boda operators in Nyandarua have been urged to exhibit the highest degree of discipline to change the perceived unruly image of the sector.

Government, political and sector personaloties led by ICT, Innovation and Youth Affairs Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru and Governor Francis Kimemia told riders to change an image that has not endeared them to the society.

They spoke at the Ol Kalou Stadium during the launch of the national governmentbacked Boda boda Empowerment Initiative for Nyandarua riders.

Mucheru said the riders had several occasions been accused of impregnating schoolgirls. He asked them to keep off schoolgirls henceforth.
