Benga artiste Holy Writes passes on

The entertainment industry is mourning the passing on of benga artiste Holy Writes. The former member of Kenyan multi-genre music group Dr3am Ville died on December 22, 2021.
His brother Webb says the musician and artiste manager battled lymphoid for some time and later suffered severe abdominal pains.
He was then diagnosed with splenomegaly and died shortly afterwards while undergoing treatment at the Kenyatta National Hospital.
Other Dr3am Ville members are Mishu and Webb. The group’s music went global after its huge collaborations with artistes from Zambia, South Africa, Jamaica, India, Germany and USA. However, the group disintegrated in 2014.
