Former nominated senator Millicent Omanga has fired at United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party Secretary General Cleophas Malala accusing him of incompetence and nepotism over recent party appointments.
In her outburst, Omanga who missed out on the appointments took a swipe at Malala accusing him of abandoning hardworking and dedicated hustlers who ‘watered’ the rise of the UDA party with their sweat and sacrifice only to appoint his relatives and acquaintances who contributed nothing to the party’s growth.
“Allegations against UDA Secretary General Cleo Malalah as appertains incompetence & nepotism in appointments to leadership positions in the ruling party are unfortunate but not surprising. For a man who has been fixated with personal glory & selfish pursuit at the very expense..,” Omanga said.
“Acquaintances, relatives & hangers-on who contributed absolutely nothing to the growth of UDA party effectively and intentionally abandoning hardworking & dedicated hustlers who watered the rise of UDA with their sweat and sacrifice. It has come a time that we must call a spade a spade & make the office of the SG work,” she added.
Continuing her spiel, the former senator strongly affirmed that all individuals who fought for UDA’s victory must get their fair share in the management of the party and that she will not allow her party to be run by an individual who doesn’t carry President William Ruto’s vision.
“We won’t allow our party to be run by an individual who doesn’t carry H.E. President William Ruto’s vision. All party members who fought for the party must get their fair share in the management of the party, or the chips will fall,” she wrote.
