The Kenya National Examination Council (Knec) says all is set for marking of the 2021 national examinations once the exams are completed.

Knec Chief Executive Officer David Njengere (left) said invite letters for examiners have already been issued and the site for use by the examiners is ready.

“Examiners are required to access the Knec contracted professional website and log in using their user names and passwords.

Those who have forgotten their passwords should click on the reset button to enter their module numbers and submit to receive new ones for logging into the system,” said Njengere in a notice.

He said that once they login, the examiners are expected to complete their personal information and, using the dashboard provided, they are to access, download and print the invitation letters and marking instructions.

“Further instructions on acceptance and rejection of the marking offer are given in the invitation letters,” said Njengere.

KCPE will be completed today, with marking expected to commence immediately. Teachers to mark the English Composition and Kiswahili Insha exams have been identified, while the multiple choice papers are marked electronically.
