AFC Leopards pip Ulinzi Stars to achieve podium finish in FKF Cup

AFC Leopards secured a third-place finish in the FKF Cup after defeating Ulinzi Stars by a solitary goal in the bronze match held at Moi International Centre Kasarani on Saturday.
As a result of their victory, Ingwe will receive Ksh 750,000 from the Federation, while Ulinzi Stars will take home Ksh 500,000.

The match proved to be a closely contested affair, with the first half ending in a goalless stalemate despite both teams creating scoring opportunities.
The intensity continued in the second half, with only one goal separating the sides.
AFC Leopards broke the deadlock in the 67th minute when former captain Eugene Mukangula unleashed a powerful long-range effort that left Ulinzi Stars’ goalkeeper, James Saruni, helpless. Mukangula’s strike found the back of the net, giving AFC Leopards the crucial advantage.
Jafari Owiti, the winger for AFC Leopards, was recognized for his outstanding performance throughout the match and was awarded the man of the match accolade.
Owiti consistently troubled the opponents’ defense, showcasing his skills and contributing to his team’s victory.
The Moi International Centre Kasarani will also host the highly anticipated final match, featuring Tusker FC and Kakamega Homeboyz, scheduled to kick off at 3:00 pm.
Both teams have their sights set on securing the coveted ticket to the CAF Confederation Cup, as well as the substantial cash prize of Ksh 2 Million.
For football enthusiasts planning to attend the match, regular section tickets are priced at Ksh 200, while VIP section tickets are priced at Ksh 500.
FKF has designated Gate 12 and Gate 19 as the points of sale for ticket purchases, ensuring a smooth ticketing process for fans.

In addition to the option of live attendance, the FKF has also confirmed that the final match will be televised live on KBC (Kenya Broadcasting Corporation) and streamed on the Mozzart Bet Cup Facebook page.
This allows fans who are unable to physically attend the match to still catch all the action and experience the thrill of the games from the comfort of their own homes.
