2 Counties to experience power outage today

Kenya Power and Lighting Company has announced that 2 counties will be experiencing power outages on Friday, June 14, 2024.
In a statement shared on their X page (formerly Twitter), the utility firm said the outages will be as a result of planned maintenance of power lines.
“Hello, the following areas will be under maintenance tomorrow 14.06.2024,” Kenya Power stated.
Despite being only a few hours long, the outage is likely to negatively impact smooth running of everyday activities.
Among the counties that will be affected include Migori and Laikipia counties.

Migori County
Time: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Area: Uriri, Stella and Oyani
In Migori, the areas that will be affected include parts of Uriri, Oyani BAT, Bware, Kaminolewe, Lela, Stella, Osogo, Oyani Water and adjacent customers.
Laikipia County
Time: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Area: Timau and Ngusichi
In Laikipia, the areas that will be affected include parts of Timau market, Ngusichi market, Kwa Nganga market, Siraj Farm, Batian Farm, Big Flower Farm, Lolmalik Farm, Maritati market, River Side, Kiambogo market, Ethi market, Ngara Ndare market, Oldonyo Farm, Kirinyaga Seeds, Master Mind Farm Timau River Lodge, Kiguru market and adjacent customers.
