1,600 shortlisted after KDF concludes nationwide recruitment exercise
The Kenya Defence Force (KDF) has unveiled the official list of prospective Specialist Officer Cadets and Tradesmen/Women.
The list is now available for viewing on the KDF’s official website, accessible via the following link: https://bit.ly/48eucif.
Additionally, the KDF has announced that the shortlist will also be published in local newspapers on Sunday, September 17, 2023.
KDF interviews
According to the KDF’s official statement, interviews for these positions will commence on Monday, September 25, 2023, starting at 8:00 a.m.
Tradesmen and women are expected to report to Embakasi Garrison in Nairobi for their interviews.
Specialist Officer interviews will be conducted at KMA-Lanet in Nakuru County on Monday, October 16, 2023, also commencing at 8:00 a.m.
KDF requirements
The KDF emphasizes that all candidates MUST bring their Original National Identity (ID) Card, along with four copies of their Academic and Professional Certificates, Curriculum Vitae, and any other relevant Testimonials to the interview.
“All candidates MUST bring with them an Original National Identity (ID) Card and four copies of their Academic, Professional Certificates, Curriculum Vitae and any other Testimonials,” a statement on KDF website states.
The statement further assures candidates that both feeding and accommodation will be provided throughout the interview period.
Unsuccessful candidates will be reimbursed for their road travel expenses in accordance with KDF Regulations.
“Feeding and accommodation will be provided during the period of the interview. Candidates are advised to carry with them warm clothing,” reads part of the statement.
