The vocal Laikipia County Woman Representative Cate Waruguru has been received officially to join United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party as she seeks to vie for Laikipia East MP on the ticket.

The youthful politician ditched the ruling Jubilee Party and joined UDA ,but today will determine her next political move ending months of speculations.

Speaking to People Daily Digital this morning, a close ally to the MP said that the event had already been planned two weeks ago and today is the day for her to set things right.

“We have been just waiting for the approriate time, and today is when it was confirmed by Deputy President William Ruto so that she can come and receive offically in the party,” he said.

He added that,Waruguru will now use the party to vie for Likipia East Mp and unseat the current Mp who seems not ready to defend his seat.

Her entry in the UDA party will come as an added advantage to Ruto even as he look forward to galvanize votes in the entire central region ahead of 2022 elections.
