Uhuru will replace every person Jubilee has lost to Ruto – president’s allies
By George Brian, February 10, 2022President Uhuru Kenyatta has begun the journey of reclaiming the political glory he has lost to his deputy William Ruto in the past four years, the president’s allies claim.
The allies claim that the recent move by the president to take on his critics is one of the ways the president is using to assert authority in his government.
Ndaragwa MP Jeremiah Kioni, Uhuru’s associate, claims that the president has come out to prove to his critics that his silence from politics over the past few years is not a weakness.
“The residents rarely get distracted from what he is doing. He did not get into politics the other day, he is very smart. He is very secretive but when he identifies a course, he will follow it,” he said.
On his side, Nyeri Town MP Ngujiri Wambugu, the president will now embark on replacing every single person his Jubilee party has lost to his opponents.
“Jubilee will replace every person we have lost. The president will take responsibility for delivering those positions since he is still our party leader,” Wambugu said as reported by a local daily.
Kieni MP Kanini Kega, on his part, noted that the president will ensure that DP Ruto’s popularity reduces as the country heads to the elections.
He claimed that Ruto’s political wave in Mt Kenya will soon fade away and be replaced by Raila Odinga-led Azimio la Umoja once the president embarks on a serious campaign in the region.
He said that the president and his men have already come up with a plan that they will use to counter Ruto.
“Ruto’s wave is dying whereas that of the Azimio la Umoja is gaining momentum. This is a question of strategy and will have a well-laid plan,” Kanini said.
