‘Shilingi mia tano unafanya nayo nini’ – Raila dismisses Hustler Fund

Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya supremo Raila Odinga has slammed President William Ruto’s administration’s Ksh500 Hustler Fund limit.

While addressing a rally at Gusii stadium in Kisii county, the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader maintained that the Kenya Kwanza administration was focused on making empty promises instead of delivering on their campaign promises.

He pointed out that the Hustler Fund limit was too little to sustain one’s livelihood and that the current regime was clueless about how to address the problems facing Kenyans.

Shilingi mia tano unafanya nayo nini?” he posed.

Raila also called out Ruto’s administration for ‘lying’ that they would reduce the prices of commodities to accommodate the pockets of the common mwananchi.

The former premier claims that Ruto’s regime was only spewing lies to lure the voters with no plan of delivering on their campaign pledges.

“Walikua tu wanataka kudanganya wananchi, walikua hawana mpango ya utawala ata kidogo,” he stated.

On his part, Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka criticised rebel ODM Members of Parliament (MPs) who visited President William Ruto at State House.

Speaking at the same rally, Kalonzo cautioned such leaders against such politics of deceit noting that they will not be re-elected.

“Mimi nawaonya viongozi ambao walitumia jasho la Baba, wakachaguliwa, halafu wanajipeleka ikulu kuuzwa tu kama kuku sokoni, wakifanya hivo hawatarudi tna mamlakani,” Kalonzo said.

He also weighed in on the recent raid at the former Interior Cabinet Secretary (CS) home in Karen noting that he will be the first to defend the former CS in the event that he is arrested and prosecuted.

‘I’m a lawyer but rarely go to the court having been vice president but one case that I will defend is when they arrest Matiang’i,” he added.
