The Jubilee Party Deputy Organising Secretary, Pauline Njoroge has sharply criticised Ndindi Nyoro following his latest public address, saying the legislator failed to give Kenyans the political direction many had expected and had once again fallen short of a major leadership test.

Speaking through her Facebook account on Saturday, June 27, 2026, Pauline said many Kenyans had expected Nyoro’s highly anticipated press briefing to finally settle questions surrounding his political position, particularly whether he would openly join opposition formations challenging President William Ruto ahead of the 2027 General Election.

According to Pauline, Nyoro instead left supporters disappointed after asking Kenyans for more time instead of making a firm political declaration.

“When my dear brother Ndindi Nyoro announced yesterday that he would be holding a media briefing today, many Kenyans believed he would use the opportunity to do two thing.First, declare that he is WANTAM. Second, announce which side of the opposition formations, Linda Mwananchi or the United Alternative Government, he would be joining,” Pauline said.

Pauline says Nyoro failed leadership moment

The political commentator argued that leaders facing growing public pressure are expected to provide clarity and direction instead of creating more uncertainty among supporters waiting for decisive action.

“Unfortunately, my brother has once again failed to do either, once again, he has failed the test of leadership. My dear brother Ndindi, you are failing one of the most basic lessons in leadership and politics,” she stated.

Nyoro had asked Kenyans for four more weeks

Pauline’s criticism came hours after Nyoro revealed during his Saturday, June 27, 2026, press briefing that he had been quietly working for months on what he described as a major political plan that could shape Kenya’s future, but asked Kenyans to give him between three and four weeks before unveiling his next move.

“I request Kenyans to give me three to four weeks to share my views. This decision is not about my political convenience; it is about what Kenya can become,”Nyoro said earlier.

Critic says time is running out for Nyoro

Pauline further faulted Nyoro for appearing hesitant at a time when many Kenyans were demanding political clarity following backlash over his recent absence during the Finance Bill 2026 vote.

“Bro, the choices are now clear and time is no longer on your side. It is time to make the hard decisions, or forever hold your peace. Leadership ultimately demands courage and clarity,” she added.
