Ottichilo dares Khaniri in gubernatorial race

Vihiga County governor Wilber Ottichilo has dared Senator George Khaniri to face him in ODM nomination in the fight for the governorship.
Ottichilo said he commands huge support among ODM members and he will beat Khaniri hands down if they face off in the nomination.
“I dare those who are planning to come and oppose me in ODM nominations to try their best. In ODM, I am a pillar and I will beat them hands down,” said Ottichilo.
Ottichilo reaction comes days after Khaniri defected from Musalia Mudavadi’s Amani National Congress (ANC) party to join Azimio lL Umoja spearheaded by ODM party leader Raila Odinga.
Word has it that Khaniri is heading to ODM to hunt the ticket; which he will use to contest for Vihiga gubernatorial seat.
Khaniri while addressing wananchi in Vihiga last weekend announced his defection from ANC to Azimio. He said he will be Raila’s frontline soldier in the county.
