Several notable leaders have graced the thanksgiving ceremony of Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria that is being held at Thika Stadium, Kiambu County.

The legislator, who also doubles up as the Chama Cha Kazi party leader, jetted back into the nation on Saturday morning after months of treatment in the United Arab Emirates.

Kuria’s entourage left the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and made several whistle-stop rallies before heading to Thika Stadium where the lawmaker was to hold his thanksgiving ceremony, which was also expected to have political undertones.

The Chama Cha Kazi lawmaker was joined by among other leaders; OKA principal Martha Karua, Kiambu governor James Nyoro, Ex-Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri, Ex-Mukurweini MP Kabando wa Kabando, Deputy Governor Kiambu county Joyce Ngugi, Thika MP Wainaina Jungle and Nyandarua County Assembly Speaker Ndegwa Wahome.

The outspoken lawmaker is expected to announce the presidential candidate he will be backing in the August polls.
