Missing officer, two others, discovered dead in Baringo

The body of a police officer attached to the Embu DCI was among three bodies found dumped along the Iten-Kabarnet road in Baringo County on Sunday night.
Two of the bodies were found near Kapsigorian area on Iten-Kabarnet road while another one was found dumped near Iten town.
The officer, Abdirahim Adow, was reported missing by his wife on January 20 only for him to be found killed in Iten.
Residents who spoke to thePeople Daily expressed fears that there was a killer gang in the region and called for arrest and prosecution of those behind the killings.
Baringo County Police Commander Robinson Ndiwa said investigations have been launched to establish the motive of the killings and identity the other two victims.
The bodies were moved to Baringo County Referral Hospital morgue in Kabarnet pending postmortem.
