Maina Kamanda hints at possibility of President Uhuru starting to campaign for Raila in Mt Kenya

By , December 31, 2021

Nominated MP Maina Kamanda has said that 80 per cent of Mt Kenya votes will go to Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga in the 2022 general elections.

Speaking on Friday, December 31, during the Azimio la Umoja event at Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega County, Kamanda hinted that President Uhuru Kenyatta will soon start campaigning for Raila in Mt Kenya to ensure he gets the votes.

Kamanda also told off Deputy President William Ruto stating that he (Ruto) does not have all the Mt Kenya votes in his basket.

“Baba aliingia central ama hajaingia? Na ndugu yake Uhuru bado, na Uhuru akiingia Central itakuwa 80 per cent kwa baba,” Kamanda said.
