‘A number of Ruto’s CSs are not even qualified to look after my camel’ – Lawyer Ahmednassir claims
Constitutional lawyer Ahmednassir Abdullahi now claims that some of President William Ruto’s Cabinet Secretaries (CSs) are unqualified for the dockets they were appointed to.
In a statement shared via his official Twitter account, the Senior Counsel who is an ally of Ruto noted that despite serving for four months already, the CSs were incompetent and not qualified to discharge their mandated roles.
“27th Oct 2022 is the day H. E Ruto’s cabinet was sworn in…4 months is too short a period to evaluate a cabinet secretary… but spying on the notes and scorecard H.E Ruto is taking must be fascinating. For me, a number is not even qualified to look after my camel in Bangal,” he wrote.

Lately, the lawyer who has for a long time expressed optimism in the Ruto-led administration has seemingly changed his tune over the current regime.
On Tuesday, February 21, 2023, Ahmednassir criticised the list of names shortlisted for the Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) positions.
He opined that the list comprised of political rejects and tenderpreneurs whose motive is to loot public coffers.
“…patriotism or grand scheme to steal… SAME MONKEYS,” Ahmednasir wrote.
The lawyer’s remarks come amidst complaints from a section of Kenyans over the rise in the cost of living.
Taking to different media outlets, Kenyans have expressed disappointment in the current regime after failing to honour their pledges.
Momentarily, Azimio la Umoja-One Kenya leader Raila Odinga is leading the country in mass action against the Kenya Kwanza administration in a bid to stabilise the country’s economy and lower the cost of living.
