Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has described the political cooperation between President William Ruto and ODM party leader Raila Odinga as a transformative force that has stabilised Kenya’s political landscape and unlocked inclusive development.

Speaking during a development tour in Mombasa on Saturday, Kindiki said the unity between the two leaders has allowed the government to pursue a national agenda centred on equity, inclusion, and equal opportunity one that ensures “no Kenyan is left behind.”

“This administration is intentional about serving every Kenyan, regardless of region, tribe, religion, or gender,” he said, adding that their leadership model prioritises need over political loyalty.

In the Coast region, Kindiki highlighted government interventions such as the settlement of historical land disputes in Vijiweni, the reopening of the Mtongwe ferry, and the completion of the Dongo Kundu bridge. He said these projects reflect a deliberate move toward equitable development.

The Deputy President also cited ongoing construction of modern markets in all constituencies, national electrification projects reaching over 15 million new households, and massive investments in the blue economy such as fish ports in Shimoni, Liwatoni, and Kwale as examples of inclusive growth.

“Beach management units in five coastal counties have already received Sh3.2 billion in grants. And with the Kazi Mtaani–Climate WorX programme rolling out in all 47 counties, every region is being reached,” he said.

Kindiki emphasised that President Ruto is fulfilling his campaign promises including the return of port operations to Mombasa, which he said was completed within two months of taking office. He reaffirmed the government’s commitment to working around the clock, calling the administration “Team Kazi Bila Break.”

The Deputy President also pointed to the Social Health Authority (SHA) rollout as a revolutionary step in healthcare, protecting both employed and unemployed Kenyans from financial ruin.

“SHA is ensuring no one has to sell land or assets to pay medical bills. Mombasa leads the way in registration, and we thank Governor Abdulswamad Nassir for that,” Kindiki noted.

He urged Kenyans to embrace unity and reject divisive politics, calling on all citizens to support leaders who prioritise service over slogans.
