Kasipul parliamentary aspirant Philip Aroko urges voters to prioritise peace ahead of by-election

Kasipul independent Member of Parliament (MP) aspirant Philip Aroko has called on voters to focus on peace, unity, and integrity as the constituency prepares for the upcoming by-election on November 27, 2025.

In a statement shared on his official Facebook account on Sunday, November 16, 2025, Aroko emphasised the importance of listening to constituents and understanding their concerns. He highlighted the strong participation he has witnessed during his campaign.

“Our people value peace, and this is reflected in the strong turnout at every gathering we hold. The residents of Kasipul speak with sincerity about the issues that matter most to them, and I always listen closely to their concerns,” he stated.

Aroko acknowledged the responsibility that comes with the trust of the community, pledging dedicated service should he be elected.

“As we approach the 27th of this month, I recognise the responsibility that comes with their trust. Should I be given the mandate, I will serve diligently and responsibly,” he stated.

He also called on the electorate to consider character and integrity when choosing their representative, praising Kasipul residents for their discerning judgement.

“Kasipul constituents are discerning thinkers, principled, mature and guided by integrity. They expect the same from anyone seeking to represent them,” Aroko said.

Reflecting on his campaign journey, Aroko described it as long and demanding but said he remains optimistic about the community’s direction.

“This journey has been long and demanding, but it is nearing an important milestone in ten days,” he noted, expressing confidence that the by-election could signal a positive shift for the constituency.

Aroko concluded by highlighting the broader goals of security, justice, and harmony for families in Kasipul, stressing the collective aspiration for stability.

“We hope that this by-election will mark a turning point toward greater security, justice and harmony for our families. Peace and stability remain our collective aspiration,” he said.
