Kalonzo meets Namibia-based expert for talks on Kenya’s transformation
Wiper Patriotic Front (WPF) Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka has opened up on his meeting with a Namibia-based expert to discuss, among other things, the 2027 general election plans.
Taking to his official X account on Monday, August 11, 2025, Kalonzo revealed that he had hosted Gachara Kamanga, a public sector performance advisor based in Windhoek, Namibia, at the Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka (SKM) Command Centre.
Kamanga, who has extensive experience in development policy, planning, and evaluation, engaged Kalonzo in an in-depth discussion on strategies to drive development transformation in Kenya.
“I had the opportunity of spending time with Gachara Kamanga at the SKM Command Centre today. Kamanga, who was visiting from Windhoek, Namibia, where he works as a public sector performance advisor, has a wealth of experience in development policy, planning, and evaluation, greatly enriched our conversation on development transformation in Kenya,” Kalonzo stated.
The former vice president lauded the exchange, saying such conversations are key to shaping the nation’s future.
Engaging experts
He vowed to continue engaging experts and stakeholders, adding that he will “not rest until we have rescued and reclaimed our beloved Kenya from the shackles of the Ruto regime’s socio-political and economic devastation.”
“I look forward to more of these conversations, as I will not rest until we have rescued and reclaimed our beloved Kenya from the shackles of Ruto regime’s socio-political and economic devastation,” he wrote on X.

Kalonzo on Ruto’s administration
Over the recent past, Kalonzo has been attacking President William Ruto’s administration, saying Kenyans are worse off today than they were three years ago when the Kenya Kwanza government came to power.
Speaking on Saturday, August 9, 2025, Kalonzo reminded Kenyans of the day they went to the polls to choose leaders from the presidency to members of county assemblies, delegating their sovereign power under the Constitution.
He accused President Ruto and his team of failing to live up to their “lofty promises” to improve lives through the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda, instead making life more difficult for ordinary citizens.
“Three years later today, we dare ask you, are your lives better?” Kalonzo said in a video shared on his X account.
“The answer from Vanga to Kiunga, here at the coast, from Malili in the lower eastern part of the region to Malindi, where we recently toured, from Mount Kenya in central Kenya to Mount Elgon in western Kenya, from Tudor here in Mombasa to Trukana, from Mandera in the north to Kitale, the answer is a resounding no.”
