Kalonzo calls on Uhuru to lead OKA-Azimio talks

By , March 1, 2022

One Kenya Alliance principal Kalonzo Musyoka has now called on President Uhuru Kenyatta to take leadership during their OKA-Azimio talks.

Musyoka has maintained that he is ready to work with Raila again, but only under the stewardship of the retiring Head of State.

Refuting tension claims between him and ODM leader Raila Odinga, Kalonzo said Uhuru should deliver his promise to Kenyans of brokering a deal between them.

“I would like to say there is no tension between me and Raila Odinga. In effect, I urge Uhuru Kenyatta to take leadership of the current round of negotiation. He holds a sense of authority and still hold great sway,” Kalonzo stated.

“The President himself said that we now have two Presidential candidates, Odinga proposed by ODM, and Wiper have also given a name, therefore whoever emerges as a flag bearer of Azimio-OKA coalition will receive everyone’s support,” he added.
