Wiper has finally decided to rejoin Azimio – Kivutha Kibwana
The wiper party led by Kalonzo Musyoka has ultimately decided to rejoin Azimio la Umoja – One Kenya coalition party after bolting out following Martha Karua’s appointment as the preferred running mate for Raila Odinga.
This is if Makueni governor Professor Kivutha Kibwana’s statement is something to go about. Kibwana has on his official social media pages, indicated that Wiper is finally rejoining Azimio.
“FINALLY, Wiper has decided to join AZIMIO where Kamba Nation is domiciled about 2 months to elections. Dialogue with AZIMIO’s leadership must involve those of us who have been selling Azimio in the region; those who did the heavy lifting, and Wiper. Fairness/decency are virtues,” Kibwana tweeted.

Kibwana’s statement comes just days after Wiper politicians allegedly voted to have their party leader Kalonzo Musyoka reunite with Azimio la Umoja – One Kenya coalition party presidential candidate Raila Odinga.
Wiper politicians met at Stoni Athi Resort in Machakos County to chart the way forward for the Kalonzo-led political party.
In the meeting, the party members reportedly overwhelmingly voted 45 against five in favour of Wiper remaining in the Azimio la Umoja – One Kenya coalition.
The meeting that was being led by Wiper vice-chairperson and Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior, and Organising Secretary Robert Mbui also had several MPs drawn from the three counties of Makueni, Machakos and Kitui.
