State House race: Wajackoyah campaigns in Nyeri, denies being government project
Roots Party presidential candidate George Wajackoyah and his running mate Justina Wamae on Thursday, July 7 campaigned in Nyeri County.
Speaking in Nyeri town, Wajackoyah denied holding dual citizenship.
“They have been saying this guy is a British. I was not born in England, I was born in Kenya. When I ran for a seat in the UK, I did not need to be a UK citizen.
“In England, as long as you are a Commonwealth citizen, you are eligible to vie as an MP,” he said.
He further denied being a government project.

“Raila Odinga is a project. William Ruto is a project inside a project because he is in government. Kenya Kwanza is saying I am an Azimio project, Azimio is saying I am a Kenya Kwanza project.
“And now, they are saying I am a government project. I’m in this race as my own man to liberate Kenyans economically,” he said.
Wajackoyah promises to revive economy
Wajackoyah promised to deal with corruption should he win the August 9 presidential election.
“We will introduce a full 24-hour economy. There will be people working from 6 am to 2 pm, 3 pm to 11 pm and 12 am to 6 am,” he said.
