Atandi, who successfully defended his seat on August 9, 2022, polls called on at the same time called on Azimio la Umoja supporters not to lose hope but focus on the forthcoming court process challenging the outcome of the presidential elections.

Speaking during the burial of the late Dorsila Achoki at Nyachwinya village on the outskirts of Siaya town today, Atandi said the public should ignore the public relations stints that the Kenya Kwanza team, led by president-elect William Ruto have been performing.

“We know that the court process will give Kenyans justice,” the legislator said

Adding; “When the court process is over, I am very optimistic that Kenyans will know that the person they elected as their president.”

Atandi said that the recent development at the Kenya Kwanza team where the president-elect has been wooing newly elected MPs from other parties was a pointer that they allegedly do not respect existing laws.

“The Kenya Kwanza overdrive fishing for elected MPs from other parties is in disregard of the law prohibiting such behaviour,” the MP claimed.
