State House race: Raila heads to Kwale after Uhuru campaigned for him in Nairobi

Azimio la Umoja One Kenya presidential flag bearer Raila Odinga is set to intensify his campaigns across Kwale county today Wednesday, July 13, 2022.
Raila kick-started his tour of Kwale county by having a breakfast meeting with religious leaders from 7 am to 8 am as he prepared to hit the ground running.
He will start his campaigns in the Kinango sub-county where he is expected to hold a rally for approximately one hour – from 10 am to 11 am.
The Azimio presidential candidate will then proceed to Lunga Lunga sub-county where he will hold a rally at Chitsukwa ground from 1 pm to 2 pm.
From Lunga Lunga, the Azimio caravan will head to Msambweni sub-county where they will hold a rally at Babla ground from 2:30pm to 4 pm.
Raila’s campaigns in Kwale county will culminate with a mega rally to be held in Likoni sub-county at Caltex ferry grounds from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
Uhuru campaigns for Raila
On Tuesday, President Uhuru Kenyatta campaigned for Raila in Nairobi as the Azimio la Umoja flagbearer and his running mate Martha Karua campaigned in Taita Taveta county.
Speaking in Embakasi East constituency, Uhuru told a gathering that Raila and his running mate Martha Karua are people of integrity.
The President said he will continue executing his duties as the head of state and government until he hands over power to his successor.
Uhuru earnestly urged Kenyans to ensure that his successor is none other than Raila Amolo Odinga.
