Alfred Keter loses seat to Bernard Kitur

Nandi Hills Member of Parliament (MP) Alfred Keter has lost his parliamentary seat.

Keter who has served the constituency for 10 years lost the seat to United Democratic Alliance (UDA) candidate Bernard Kitur who had 23,503 votes against his 18,037 votes.

Speaking after being declared the winner by the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), Kitur lauded Keter for his exemplary services during his tenure as MP in the constituency.

“We have so much work to do in Nandi hills. Let’s appreciate Alfred Keter for the work he has done for the past 10 years,” Kitur stated.
