Makueni County Deputy Leader of Majority Harrison Ngui is dead.

Ngui died after his car collided with a truck along the busy Mombasa- Nairobi Highway.

Makueni County police commander Joseph Napeiyan has confirmed the death.

The accident which took place at 6:30pm occurred at Salama area in Makueni County.

It involved his grey Toyota Prado Landcruiser.

The MCA died on the spot and a report was made at Salama Police Station.

Police say that the driver of the trailer was driving at a high speed and had even overtaken several vehicles before the accident took place.

“Salama Police Station is reporting a fatal injury road traffic accident which occurred today 15/06/2021 at about 1830hrs within ACK area along Mombasa Nairobi Highway,” a report seen by People Daily Digital read.
