Dj Joe Mfalme in court

Kenyan entertainer DJ Joe Mfalme is scheduled to appear in court this Monday, April 8, in connection with the tragic death of Inspector Felix Kelian Kitosi, a DCIO at Kabete Police Station.

A statement released on Sunday confirmed the court arraignment for 9:00 a.m., with DJ Joe Mfalme’s management conveying gratitude to online fans and supporters for their backing during this challenging time.

The incident unfolded at Texas Barbeque, an entertainment venue in Kikuyu, on Saturday, March 16, when an altercation erupted after Kitosi accidentally scratched DJ Joe Mfalme’s vehicle in the parking lot.

The altercation escalated into a physical confrontation involving Mfalme, his bouncer, photographer, and driver. Unfortunately, Kitosi sustained severe abdominal injuries and was rushed to Nairobi West Hospital, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries.

Power Interruptions:

Kenya Power has announced temporary electricity interruptions scheduled for Monday, April 8, affecting parts of Embu County.

The blackout, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time, is attributed to network maintenance and will impact residents of Masinga, Msingini, and surrounding areas.

Principal Secretary Interior Raymond Omollo is expected to join the Petroleum Industry Briefing on Combatting Illicit Trade amidst reports of thriving illicit trade in petroleum products along the Kenya-Ethiopia border and in some Nairobi streets.

Medics Strike

The strike by the Kenya Medical Practitioners Pharmacists Dentists Union is set to enter its fourth week, causing continued suffering for citizens.

President William Ruto stated that the government cannot meet the financial demands of the striking workers, emphasizing the need for fiscal responsibility and wage bill reduction.
