Tusker FC midfielder Fabian Adikiny has reflected on his transformative journey since joining the team at the beginning of the season.

Having made the transition from Murang’a Seal, where he played a pivotal role in their promotion from the National Super League, Adikiny acknowledges the immense progress he has achieved individually.

Despite encountering challenges, including an early-season injury setback, Adikiny remains resolute in his pursuit of excellence.

Bolstered by the support of his teammates and fueled by his unwavering commitment to improvement, he is determined to finish the season on a high note.

“I have grown a lot individually. I have developed my skill to a high level since I joined and the biggest lesson I have learnt is the essence of teamwork, which is the pillar of growth,” Adikiny said.

“So far so good. It has been a great first season. I am still a work in progress but I am on a good track. As a footballer, you always have to adapt to any new situation and it hasn’t been easy. With a good mentality though, I have been able to do well,” he added.

With Tusker FC competing for both the FKF Premier League title and the FKF Cup, Adikiny sets his sights on securing his debut top-flight season with a trophy, a long-held aspiration.

“It would be something really great to finish with a trophy. This is something that I have longed for and getting my first career trophy in the first season with Tusker would be a dream come true,” Adikiny noted.

“It will not be an easy game, but we are looking forward to it. Our form has been good and we also have good morale in training. These past three weeks we have trained really aell and I believe we have the motivation to win,” he added.
