Kenya Police edge Nairobi City Stars for back-to-back wins

Kenya Police secured their second consecutive victory of the season with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Nairobi City Stars in an FKF Premier League match held at the Kenya Police Sacco grounds on Saturday.

This marks the second consecutive win for the team under the guidance of coach Zdravko Logarusic.

Kenya Police rise

In their previous match, they secured their first win of the season by defeating Bidco United 2-0.

Logarusic took over the coaching role from Francis Baraza, who had struggled to secure victories in the opening four matches.

Kenya Police faced a tough challenge against Nairobi City Stars, who were in good form, having won their previous two matches with identical 2-1 scores against Sofapaka FC and Nzoia Sugar.

In the match, the only goal was scored by the newly signed player, Tito Okello. Kenya Police managed to hold onto their lead to secure another victory and maintain a clean sheet.

Kenya Police climb

This win propelled Kenya Police to fourth place in the FKF Premier League standings with nine points from six matches. They have scored six goals and conceded an equal number in the league.

Kenya Police’s current record stands at two wins, three draws, and one loss. Meanwhile, Nairobi City Stars occupies the ninth position with eight points from six matches.

On Sunday, October 8, two matches are scheduled, with Muhoroni Youth taking on KCB in Muhoroni, and Bidco United facing Bandari at Kasarani.
