During the pre-season transfer window for the 2023/24 FKF Premier League, AFC Leopards stood out as the most proactive club.

The window, which closed on September 15, 2023, saw AFC Leopards make significant moves.

AFC Leopards ins and outs

They bolstered their squad by signing a total of 19 players, with six of these acquisitions coming from Nzoia Sugar.

Simultaneously, they allowed five players to depart, finding new homes at Posta Rangers, Murang’a Seal, Shabana, and Nairobi United, among others.

AFC Leopards released Peter Ng’ang’a (Posta Rangers FC), Robert Mudenyu (Murang’a Seal FC),Eugene Mukangula (Shabana FC), Erick Mbithi (On loan, Nairobi United FC) and Dan Sunguti (AFC Leopards Youth FC).

AFC Leopards rivals

Their rivals Gor Mahia roped in 11 players with Patrick Sibomana joining from Clube Ferroviario da Beira in Mozambique. Rogers Mugisha was signed from UPDF FC Uganda, Kevin Omondi, Kevin Simiyu, Alvin Ochieng, Lawrence Juma, Rooney Onyango were also signed.

Peter Oundu (Posta Rangers FC), John Nyawir (On loan, Rainbow FC), Gilbert Otieno Oloo (On loan, Vihiga Bullets FC), Parmenas Ochola (On loan, Mathare United FC) and Bonface Otieno Odhiambo (On Loan, Vihiga Bullets FC) have parted ways with the club on permanent and some on loan.
