Here is what you need to know in order to get up to speed with today’s happenings.

African Youth Climate Assembly

The African Youth Climate Assembly is expected to hit its second day today.

The event expected to run from 2nd to 3rd September will be ongoing at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi.

The meeting was officially opened by President William Ruto who chaired the summit yesterday, Friday, September 1, 2023. It is co-hosted by the Kenya government and the African Union Commission.

24 Heads of State and government will attend.

KDF recruitment

The recruitment of Kenyans into the Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) will be continuing across different parts of the country today.

The exercise seeks to recruit officer cadets, recruits and Defence Forces Constables in 374 recruitment centres countrywide and is scheduled to close on Friday, September 8, 2023.
